First remember the frame choice is not soley down to you! You do have the final say, but please remember some frames may not be suitable for you visual needs or just may look terrible. An honest opinion is worth its weight in gold your frame advisor/ optician should never push one frame over another just because of price.

Its for the above reason why an independent optician is far better placed to help you choose frames as it will make no difference to a sales target or pay at the end of the month.

Secondly, before going to the opticians think about the clothes you wear, the colours you like. Ask your self do I prefer the classic look, high fashion or funky and trendy. Knowing the answers to theses questions will help your optician guide you through the many frame choices.

Third, never be afraid of trying something new, if your frame advisor / optician is honest they will tell you if it looks less than perfect.
